Rachel Entrekin & Sarah Allaben: Meet Your Friday Night Social Guest Trail Queens

This year’s Wild Woman Friday Night Panel is bringing the heat—and not just because Sarah fights wildfires for a living. We’re thrilled to welcome two phenomenal women who prove that trail running isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, getting muddy, and maybe accidentally breaking a course record or two.

🌵 Rachel Entrekin: The Unsponsored Legend with a Serious Belt Buckle Collection

Before she crossed the Cocodona 250 finish line just a few weeks ago, setting an astounding course record, she took a moment to play a quick ditty on a piano. Because, why not?

Rachel Entrekin is the kind of runner who makes you laugh, cry, and question your life choices—all in one blog post. Hailing from Alabama, this physical therapist and self-proclaimed “blonde idiot” has quietly (and not-so-quietly) taken the ultrarunning world by storm.

She’s won eight 100-mile races in two years, holds 15 Fastest Known Times (FKTS) like up on the nearby Wonderland Trail, and recently defended her title at the Cocodona 250, setting a new women’s course record by nearly seven hours . But don’t let the accolades fool you—Rachel’s approach to running is refreshingly unfiltered. Her blog is a treasure trove of candid race recaps, where she shares the highs, lows, and everything in between.

🌲 Sarah Allaben: Trout Lake’s Quiet Powerhouse

Sarah Allaben might be the most humble trail crusher you’ll ever meet. But don’t let that fool you. She’s a powerhouse right up to the finish line, as well as bringing together the resources a community needs to fight wildfires and access wild places.

She’s also a Trout Lake local, balancing her role as the Fire Adapted Communities Coordinator at Mt. Adams Resource Stewards with a burgeoning ultrarunning career.

Her journey began right here at Wild Woman’s 50k, and she’s since climbed the ranks to win the 2025 Gorge Waterfalls 50k. Sarah’s dedication to both her community and the trails is nothing short of inspiring.
